There are some fixed things in life that you cannot do without, and a hot cup of tea is one of them. I have a simple keto masala chai for you today that is easy to make and very comforting.

all year around, the only thing that stays constant in my daily life is to wake up with a cup of tea. It’s my way of starting the day as it is for millions of peoples all over the world.

It is one of the famous hot drinks in the world and especially in India. A cup of low carb milk tea (chai) in the morning gives you a feeling of freshness and puts you on the way to a long day. It can be made with almond milk and various types of tea leaf. This recipe made with almond milk, low carb sweetener, tea leaf, ginger and cardamom and water.

Trial this keto masala chai if you do not want coffee or hot chocolate, but want something hot, creamy and sweet.

Cardamom: This is the most popular part of the tea. If you need to pick a single spice, add it to your tea and do not skip it. I like the aroma of cardamom

Fresh ginger: I love the subtle and spicy kick of ginger in the tea. It is not possible a tea be complete without the Chai Emperor of Spices? Ginger this is a personal favourite. I usually add a bit of crushed ginger in the water before it starts to boil for the juice to have enough time to add flavour. This is also great for a sore throat. Or just to make you smile and push you to a good day.
